In the game, whose first half ended goalless, Italy took the lead through Immobile’s goal in the 47th minute. Despite Italy dominating the game, Trabzonspor’s Enis Bardhi’s excellent free-kick from North Macedonia leveled the scores in the 81st minute, edging points from tough opponents.

Italy play their next home game against Ukraine on Tuesday, while North Macedonia host Malta on the same day.
